Heath C. Poole
Heath C. Poole was raised in the small East Texas town of Overton, where he graduated from Overton High School. Heath graduated from Texas A&M University in 1997 with a B.B.A. in management. In 2000, he graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, with a Juris Doctor degree.
After graduation from law school, he spent four years working as in-house counsel and land operations manager for an independent oil and gas exploration company. Since joining the law firm, he has handled a wide variety of practice areas. He has represented clients with oil and gas matters as well as transactional and litigation of real estate matters, including easement disputes, boundary line disputes, condemnation cases, and ownership disputes. He has also represented clients with wills and estates, including not only the preparation of wills and other estate planning documents but also the administration of wills and estates.
Heath also handles business contract cases for clients in the construction industry, including representation of home builders and home buyers alike. He has represented individuals in criminal cases, such as DWIs, at jury trials.
Heath is a former president of the Brazos County Bar Association, a former member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association Board of Directors, and a Life Fellow Texas Bar Foundation.
Heath is married to Kelli Hannan Poole and is the father of two boys. Heath and his family are members of Central Baptist Church. He has served as Board President and as a board member of area civic and charitable organizations in Brazos County, Texas.
